Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs )
We provide concierge medicine as a new approach to meeting the health care needs of our clients. Because we can conduct our appointments in the comfort of your home or hotel room, you may have questions about how our services work.
In addition to our FAQs below, you can contact us if you have any questions regarding
East Sacramento Concierge and the home health care services we provide. We're happy to assist you in any way we can.
How long do appointments take?
In contrast to brick-and-mortar clinics, our appointments take as long as necessary, because we want to ensure that you receive quality care and attention to fully address your needs.
What is preventative medicine?
Prevention is the act of preventing, treating and solving health-related problems. By analyzing your blood and genetics, we guide you toward better whole-body health.
Do I need any special equipment or supplies for the appointment?
Equipment and supplies will be provided by the doctor at your appointment. You do not need to bring anything.
What services are available?
We offer a wide variety of services, including urgent care, general medicine, anti-aging treatments, lab draws, x-rays, EKGs, IV fluid injections (vitamins or treatments), cosmetic procedures, travel vaccines, and medical weight loss programs.
What are appointments like?
You can choose your appointment location. We suggest that you choose a comfortable place to meet. We hold appointments in your home or hotel.
Our appointments are very relaxed and easygoing with East Sacramento Concierge. We do not place time limits on our appointments to ensure that we can do a thorough examination.
How do house call doctor visits differ from an appointment at a traditional clinic?
We provide the same expertise and knowledge that you would find in a traditional clinic, but delivered at your home. We come to you, so there is no need for you to travel to a clinic, wait in a waiting room, or come into contact with sick people.
We ensure that you are able to speak with the doctor one-on-one, without time constraints. We do our very best to make sure that you have the time you need to fully address all of your concerns during your house call.
What is your pet policy?
If you have a dog, cat, or any other two or four-legged friend, they are welcome to join you during the appointment.
What if I need a referral to a specialist?
In order to provide the best care for your unique needs, we can refer you to a specialist. Our network of top-ranked specialists provides patients with expedited appointments, which means you won't have to wait long to begin receiving the care you need.
What if I need to go to an urgent care facility or the emergency room?
Our team is happy to set up an intake at an emergency room or urgent care facility if we cannot provide the service you need.
Do I still need insurance?
We do not bill insurance. There is no co-pay for your visits. However you need to maintain medical insurance for specialists, medications, bloodwork and imaging.
Will you be recognized as my primary care physician by my insurance?
For all PPO plans and Medi-Care, I will be your designated PMD and able to order all tests, consults, and medications. We do have many patients that are with Kaiser, HMOs, and even Medi-Cal who choose to have me for better access to detailed care and treatment plans, while having their assigned PMD place orders.
Is there a limit to how many times I can be seen in a month?
We all have moments of increased need at points in our lives. When changes occur, I am there for you in your moment of need. Frequent visits, time, education, and encouragement early on help you to be successful. So no, there are no limits on how often you can be seen.
If I have an emergency who do I call?
During business hours call the front desk. The assistant will get me if needed. After hours you would call the physician cell phone.
